Are you feeling the doldrums of summer?  No parades to watch.  No music to dance to on the streets.  No walking around uptown with a drink in your hand. 

You better PERK UP because the 610 Stompers are presenting their second ball to the masses (we have two you know, one in the winter and one in the summer). 

DIG IN THE BACK OF YOUR DRAWERS…pull it out…and dust off that old 80s work out gear. 

Then come learn how to SHAKE WHAT YOUR MAMA GAVE YOU from the New Orleans own 610 Stompers.  We will teach you our signature dance routines!

Don’t worry, you won’t get thirsty.  WITH YOUR CUP IN YOUR HAND, you will dance with the 610 Stompers to the best, Stomper-approved bars in Uptown New Orleans.

Before you get too WORKED UP, save some energy for contests at every bar, such as Best Mustache, Mustache Limbo, Best 80s Work Out Gear, and a Dance Off.

With YOUR SUPPORT, we also will help raise money to send The Roots of Music Marching Crusaders to the Rose Bowl parade.  (www.therootsofmusic.com)

REGISTER NOW.

·         You must be over 21, sign a waiver, and be registered to participate.  We welcome men, women, and extraterrestrials.

·         You can register online and purchase tickets for $30 by June 8.  Registration by June 8 gets you more swag.

·         For the procrastinators, you still can register and purchase tickets for $35 on the day of the event from 1 to 3 pm at the Ball Crawl starting point at Grit’s Bar.  However, you won’t get as much swag.

·         Sorry No Refunds, rain or shine or otherwise.  It's a charitable event!

·         Beat the rush the day of the event, and pick up your swag at our pre-registration events.  The first 25 people at each pre-registration event will get a free 610 Stompers Calendar! 

SWAG

·         If you register online by June 8, you will get the following Ball Crawl swag:

(1)   ID wristband (after you give us your signed waiver at either a pre-registration event or on the day of the event), which allows you to march with the 610 Stompers, partake in the free beer offered at each bar, participate in the contests, enter the after party, and say “I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE AND I OWE IT ALL TO YOUUUUU;”

(2)   Moustache (if you haven’t already grown one);

(3)   Headband;

(4)   Tattoo;

(5)   Towel; and

(6)   Event T-shirt* (limited supply and sizes, so pick it up early at one of our pre-registration events)

·         If you register on the day of the event, you will get all of the above, EXCEPT Event T-shirts only will be available on a first come/first serve basis until they run out. 

·         Each person must pick up his or her own registration packet. (Sorry, there is no buddy system.)

            -          Dance with the 610 Stompers and 610 Splits as we march through Uptown

-          Free beer for participants at each stop on a first come/first serve basis.

-          Contests and prizes along the way

7-10 pm                     After Party at The Original F & M Patio Bar (4841 Tchoupitoulas)

-          Free beer for participants on a first come/first serve basis.

-          Music and food trucks
